Best college in USA offering scholarship for Masters of Science in Computer Information System?
Anyone know the best college in USA offering scholarship for Masters of Science in Computer Information System? I am from Nepal, Bachelor of Computer Engineering with GPA 3.73. Not given TOEFL/GRE yet, preparing. I just need the list of colleges that are excellent in terms of course, professors, projects, student success profile etc and also offers scholarships or assistantship or some kind of financial funding. Help please. Thank you.

It is impossible to know whether you will receive a scholarship but the best school for computer science is MIT. Most universities offer low paid on campus work to master's students. See what score you get on the GRE. If the combo of GRE and GPA are comfortably above the university's minimum, you should stand a chance, especially from Nepal. Request financial aid on your application.

Has anyone here got a degree through an online school like University of Phoenix?
I'm thinking about a getting Masters in Information Systems, but do employers value this education as much as a traditional graduate degree?

I earned my bachelors degree from he University of Phoenix four years ago, and am currently enrolled in their MBA program. My experience at UOP has been excellent. I have not encountered any negative feedback on earning a degree online.

I received my Masters of Nursing from UOP. My supervisors were supportive of me going to school and liked that I wasn't taking off work to go to traditional classes. Also many of my work projects I would have been doing anyway, I was able to use for school projects also, killed two birds with one stone so to speak. Within two months of graduating I had two new job offers. I was even on a phone interview in less than an hour of commencement, I was still in my regalia even.

Virginia Tech. offers courses in GIS. Im not sure if they have a post graduate program though.

Cal Poly Texas A&M Sam Houston State Virgina Tech The list is endless...it really depends on where you want to live while in school.
